Both have been patched in the beta.
As for the forums, it was always going to get worse.
i get it some things aren't worth worrying about , but when users for example have issues with the forum being hostile and non productive due to the support and moderation of the forums it beings to elevate the level of dissatisfaction within the community.
yes
and the front page is filled with hentai games and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ indie games
a LOT of cool games coming out this year and i know nothing about them untill i google what games are coming out... instead of seeing them on steam.
the points thing must go its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying on discussion boards.
By far the best gaming client and it's gotten better.
Enough said.
All things considered I would say that it took a long time for Steam to devolve. Most other sites or companies devolved in this way way sooner, some at least a decade ago.
People can't care about quality when they have a 30 second attention span
As for trolls, they'll never be removed, if anything the more you try to remove them, the more they will simply appear.
As for...well I never heard of community managers as thats not a job position on the platform unless you mean Moderators which at that point ya, they get stricter because people got more stupid, I don't mean that in a rude way buts the hard truth.
Steam is still good, the people around it have changed, don't blame a digital platform for the faults of those that use it and run it lol
Back in the 90's when internet and computer technology were beginning to become a household staple, we didn't fully rely on it, and our entire society, along with all of the industries weren't completely integrated within this framework.
Fast foward to today and you can clearly see that our entire modern civilization has become dependent on the internet, and it's not by accident. These big tech monopolies (such as Steam) had this blueprint set up from the very beginning. Because you can see the integration of technology into human society over the course of these decades, and it follows a pattern.
They have slowly fed us little by little, while at the same time increasing our dependence on such products, and every year that dependence is coupled with the removal of features that once gave you certain freedoms. It's a mass marketing scheme using many factors, psychology being the main one.
When you start to understand how these scum operate, it all becomes increasingly clear, that we are nothing more than slaves to them, and there is an agenda using the advancement of technology to manipulate and control what we believe in, how we perceive information, and how we respond to things.
Just look at the big investment companies and look who they all invest in. Then look at the CEO'S of these companies and see who they donate their money to. It's all driven by globalists and leftists, and they'll use any resource necessary to achieve domination of this world. Look at how many people blindly go a long with it. They pay entire teams of people to use AI in order to monitor what is being said, then call you a crackpot. But the proof is so easily indentifiable, it's all public information.
If you thought Steam was the last bastion of hope, then think again. They are the driving force behind technological enslavement.
