How long are the temporary recordings stored for?

Using the new Steam Game Recording feature, I prefer to pick the option for Steam to record everything and later I can clip whatever I'm interested in. Steam says these are temporary recordings, but it doesn't say how long they're kept for. I fear it might be too long and they'll end up eating away at all my storage, lmao, but I can't find a way to know how long they're kept for or if that amount can be changed.
Any help?

Sorta. If you set your recordings to last, say, 2h, then you will always have a maximum of 2h recorded shared across all sessions. Any more than that and Steam will automatically delete the oldest recordings.
