Inventory bug?

I seem to be unable to acess my inventory or my Steam Market. Only when accessing these 2 I get an error saying I have "tried too much" and need to wait. Thing is I haven't tried at all, I have not entered any of those in weeks and wanted to look at my inventory to see if I had something to sell so I can buy Surroundead and Crush The Castle Legacy Collection

Steam be buggy. Just keep trying or give it a few and try again. The inventory or even just going back to my profile or so bugs out from time to time.

IP rate limiter. Too many requests from the same IP address.

Change your IP address, or get a static one, that is not shared with other users of your ISP.

Steam added a IP address rate limit, to stop people from using browser add ons, and bots to work on flooding inventories and marketplace requests.

it will reset every 4 - 8 hours or so, but if there are a lot of steam users on the same IP address that use the marketplace etc... it will kick in fast.
