I am sure a fix will come. Just a matter of time.
Same here... Like where are all my stuff?
No solution was found, but I was relieved to know that I wasn't the only one...
I hope Valve will resolve the issue soon.
I had this issue too for about a week or so, but I just wanted to report that I was (finally) able to find and fix this issue.
I simply flushed my DNS cache. Then also cleared my Steam download cache...and voilà!! It feels SO good to have fully re-gained my Steam account with all functionalities and see all icons and thumbnails back to where they should be in my inventory and profile, etc.
I am NOT a computer expert, so please make your own research or try it at your own risks:
To flush the DNS cache on Windows 10/11, open the Command Prompt as an administrator and enter the command: ipconfig /flushdns This will clear the locally stored DNS information and force your computer to retrieve fresh records from the DNS servers.
To clear your Steam cache, go to Steam settings, select downloads, scroll down a bit and you'll see "Clear Download Cache".
Hope it works for you too! And happy gaming!!
I tried the method you taught, and all the item icons came back!!
You really helped me. Thank you very much.
May you have happy gaming days, too!! :))
Thank you @memeumemmeu ! Happy 'if' I could help!
