More often developer sales have better deals then any of the four major Steam Sales. The major sales just happen to have the largest number of games on sale.

How can the Summer sale be so late into the Summer, when Summer doesn't start until 21st June 2025 and the sale starts on the 26th June 2025

No awards for you. No matter how you slice it, its not only no where near late in the summer - it's just beginning. Even in the Southern Hemisphere it's as far away from the summer as you can get.

Summer Sale normally encompasses the end of June to beginning of July.

Because June 21 is the first day of summer.

End of May/start of June is not the start of summer.

Summer vacation does not mean it is officially summer time.

bold of you to assume steam will work for the 1st hour of the summer sale. always craps out and the events never work for me on the 1st day at least.
