Games not working
What do I need to do if my games aren't starting?
I press start on a game, it says launching but then it never starts.
What should I do ?

Troubleshoot.

You could add some more detail, like include your systems specs, and mention which games you've tried. Have you tried the least demanding game in your library? Same result? Or?

Cloud-sync is a usual culprit in my experience; I'd guess see if it is trying to do that (for any of the titles in your library, I might add).

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8365U CPU @ 1.60GHz 1.90 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.8 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

You left out some details in your system specs. Keep trying though, remember if you want good input you need to provide good information. And leaving bits out doesn't make for good info.

Namely, what GPU are you using? I'm guessing it's the IGP on the CPU, but why should I be guessing about your system exactly?

If it is the IGP, have you tried updating the drivers?

And you know there's more than one 64bit OS, which one are you running?

If running steam, you can go to "Help" at the top, and then from there "system information" and it'll give you a long list that you can copy paste into the forum.
Thanks a lot

The lego games he mentioned aren't new, or terribly demanding. Yeag IGPs suck, but no reason to pretend they're worse than they are. Are suggest they can't run a particular game if they can. Even if it's worse than you woukd care for.

At any rate OP just to be certain you can look up on youtube a game's title plus Intel UHD 620 and usually get an idea how well a game will run. Or run at all. Lots of people push the limits of their non-gaming laptops like yours, so plenty of examples to confirn if and how well.

I might try updating the drivers, or find any guides focusing on the lego games on an Intel UHD 620.
im continuously getting sync error messages and cant play any games
never had any issues and running a gaming pc

It's bad etiquette to hijack threads.

Although i ignore cloud sync errors. They'll sync later, the important data is usually on the system I'm using anyway.

That happened to me a lot on Win 7. I'd have to go to "running processes" and stop the game, and start it again and it worked. Haven't had the issue since i upgraded.
