The scammers who steal user accounts would use it to delete whatever they cannot steal.
Or a user would delete something and then regret it.
Then support would get flooded with users wanting those items restored.

Most items can either be sold on the market, traded to an item dumpster or turned into gems.

Only a few items (including stickers and point shop items) can not be removed.

i got a free items by accident and I want it to be deleted

I also got a few stickers "by accident" and can not delete them.

Maybe there will be a hide option in the future but I don't think there will ever be an option to delete inventory items.

u can get the item back at steam support If u delete it by accident. Steam is giving soo many free item's I'm suggesting a delete option because u might get it by accident.

Support does not restore lost or stolen items.

You can't delete the items. If the item can't be sold, traded or broken into gems, it stays in your inventory permanently.

yes bro im talking about the free stickers there is no delete option. It's kind of a problem if u accidentally get it for free.
