Wishlists are not updating and it’s hurting Devs
Since the beginning of the Summer Sale, wishlist counts are frozen for developers. We have no idea how well our game Dino Party is performing right now, or whether social media efforts were fruitful.

This is not the first instance this has happened, during big sales wishlists stop updating for the duration of the sale and beyond - the summer sale was concluded a couple of days ago, but the wishlists are still not being updated.

For developers, this is a very important metric. Steam takes a 30% cut from all revenue, so a working wishlist counter - which can’t be more complicated than reading some field within a database - feels like the bare minimum.

Valve, please fix!

Steamworks partners should be asking about it in the Setamworks group discussions...

Ahh thank you, I had no idea that group existed. I can't seem to join the dicussion though, it doesn't load for me
I'm guessing here, but probably because you would need an official Dev approved account? From where I am sitting the account I'm looking at seem to be your normal Steam account you've used for 15 years.

Well, they're in the group now... https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/profiles/76561198024238662/groups/

Good for them.

But to be perfectly honest, I don't think it is a good idea for them to be using their normal original account for their game. I would suggest they create a new account just for the purpose of doing anything related to their game instead.

Outside of their groups/hub, devs are just Steam's users, like you and me.
