Why are some languages not supported for full UI localization?
The only languages that is officially supported on steam in regards to UI localization are: English, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Russian, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, Czech, Polish, German, Dutch, Romanian, Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Indonesian, Thai, Vietnamese, Greek, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Hungarian, Finnish & Turkish.

However there are gamers who live in the Gulf countries (they speak Arabic) but there is no UI localization into Arabic (as in steam not supporting it) is that due to having to reformat the structure since the language is R-L while the UI is designed from L-R languages, I know that iOS mirrors the format when the language is set to Arabic.

Because no one translated into those languages. This was a major project over a decade ago and the translations used today were provided by volunteer teams working under the guidance of some who no longer works at Valve.

poor indie comp
If your really interested in those language, why not volunteer to steam to translate it for it instead of twiddling your thumbs on here complaining about it? If you want to do something, do it, do not just sit here complaining about it.

They shut down the old Translation Server and went with Crowdin for translations for games.
