7 years of development, game never finishes,
I didnt play a single second of the game.
Same for the Soundtrack DLC

"Developer" Jason Hall can't code,
is also a pathological liar and a fraud.

Expected a rickroll link, and now, I'm disappointed :steamsad:
How long has it been since purchase?

How many hours have you played?

Are you the only one having issues or is the whole player base having issues?

If you have less than 2 hours of playtime and it has been less than 2 weeks (14 days) since purchase, then you are guaranteed a refund, but if you have exceeded the playtime OR the time since purchase, then you are not guaranteed a refund.

If you have exceeded the refund limit, you have to provide sufficient proof that the game is not working and do so in a POLITE manner.

And if they still deny you a refund, then that's the final answer.

SKG is not going to help you in this regard.
All you are doing is trying to run harassment campaign against the devs because you are not getting your way.

Oh and the Steam refund policy IS in line with EU refund regulations.

Valve has already refunded numerous other games where those rules didnt apply, at all.

They granted exceptions, but it is NOT the rule.

If you are outside the refund window you are NOT guaranteed a refund.

You have to PROVE the game is broken and not just for you, but for others too.

Steam is in no way obliged to offer a refund. That's their extra service. If you qualify for a refund, then they will usually grant it. But if you think that a game is a fraud, then report it.
If you bought a game 7 years ago, Valve doesn't have your money anymore
OP avoiding the question when they purchased the game, so that likely means OP is way outside the 2 weeks.

OP isn't owed a refund just because OP doesn't understand Early access.
Have you considered not being a little bit**?
Stop harassing Valve.

That would be utterly impossible, since this would invalidate its very being.

Not only did you do that, calling someone a pathological liar and fraud is absolutely slander unless you have evidence that their lies are 'pathological'.

(Hint: pathological doesn't just mean 'big' and as for fraud, you don't want to wind up in a courtroom watching him write a simple program for a judge proving that he is in fact 'a programmer'.).
I'm gonna be devil's advocate here.

The person who made Heartbound, this Jason Hall, is none other than Pirate Software himself. So i already don't have a great opinion of him, In that regards however, even if i personally don't like the guy, for rather obvious reasons for those who already know who he is, it is not worth your time to dwell on him, because ultimately we are talking about someone who cannot take accountability, and instead of focusing on finishing the game, he streams all day everyday.

But if you truly want you money back, then the only way you could possibly get a refund is if you issue a charge back from your bank itself, but that is a nuclear option if you absolutely must want this game out of your library, the only other option you have is just deleting the game from your library in the steam support section, but that way, you wouldn't get your money back.

Looking at Heartbound itself, it only costs 10 Euros. Personally, i'd say its not worth the hassle to just go through all the hoops to try and get a refund, the best you can do is just deleting the game and spreading the words of never trusting Pirate Software, that's the best you can do really.
Its worth the hassle.
