Harry Potter PC games
Hi everyone, can I find the original Harry Potter PC games here? (Not the LEGO version.) Or do you know where I can get them? Thanks!.

Unlikely. They stopped being for sale due to licenses ending, EA is the publisher of them.

Well when you search for those games in the story, do you find them? If not, then there's your answer.

I am pretty sure they're not available though. A lot of games with licensed IP's are only available while the publisher has the rights to publish/sell the game. Those rights are generally only exist for a limited time and unless both the rights holder is willing to grant further publishing rights and the publisher is willing to pay to continue to have those rights, then the game is pulled from sale and often that's the last it's heard from.

Being re-released isn't impossible, but I can count more games that have been in limbo forever than not.

Plus the older a game is the less valuable it often is. So while the Harry Potter IP might be as worth as much as it ever was, 25 year old games are often not*. So the cost to get the rights to re-publish them might be a lot more expensive than the revenue from republishing them.

*granted games nowadays can often have much longer lifespans, back in the era of early harry potter games, pre digital distribution, the landscape was a lot different.

Not here but you can look on Ebay or other marketplace sites and look for CDs.
Just looked on the EA app/origin there're not on there either
You won't find digital copies anywhere because the licencing agreements for all those games expired numerous years ago. Your only solution is to find physical copies (CD), but even then your PC likely won't support it.

sadly no. licensing allowed the publisher to sell them for a limited time period. :(
Hint of the day: downloading Electronic Arts games is not stealing.
you only can buy it on Ebay or similair things

the only other LEGAL alternative is if you have an GOG account log in , if you don´t have on register at GOG , Go to dreamlist and search in Dreamlist for the game, if its there give it an Upvote, if it isn´t there add it to dreamlist...

if youre lucky it will be released on GOG in a few years

Even GoG can't publish titles with an expired IP license, just saying...

if enough People want a game, GOG is asking for the rights to sell it (as far i know they even buy the rights)

thats why i said if OP is Lucky GOG releases it in a few years

They will try to get the rights from the publisher of a game (or if the publisher doesn't exist anymore from whoever owns the rights), an additional IP beyond that would be a first. It might not even be possible to aquire the IP just to publish an old game if another studio holds it for active development.
