A chargeback doesn't tevoke the whole library, only the ones affected by that transaction.

Games can still be played even with the account lock.

I thought it was common knowledge that doing chargebacks to online game services & games is a Very Bad Thing. The nuclear option, as it were. The thing you do if you no longer want to have anything to do with the service or game in question.

(much worse in MMOs, though)

Go make a lot more money so you don't have to worry about this ♥♥♥♥.

To do that, you want to spend your time better. If you aren't getting paid for your time, don't waste your time on it unless you enjoy it.

You are completely wrong, they don't revoke your entire collection of games for reversing one charge, they just revoke the license of the game you never paid for and block your payment method from being used for future purchases.

I mean that is literally what every store would do in this example.

Except what Valve did is the exact same thing literally every store does. If you buy something and then issue a charge back they don't just let you steal the item and keep it, they take the item back. They didn't touch his other games.
