cant download any games. keep getting corrupt download and download unavalable

im able to update games i already have, cant get anything new tho
its the same on all my drives
on windows 7 and have been using this same pc for over 10+ years, never run into this problem before.
cleared download cache, nothing
its gotten worse as some games now update into this and get bricked on your system.
games ive played for 8+ years now wont download. its not all of them but it is MOST of them

and if they took away my ability to play things i had paid for on steam on the same device i paid for them that they claimed they would work on i could refund my full steam library based on EU law. why i get a steam launcher that no longer updates along with all the other windows 7 users

No, you couldn't. No matter how many alts you use to give yourself awards. Every time you made a purchase on Steam you agreed to the following:

Windows 7 is unsupported. Therefore, you cannot get any help for issues on that operating system. As your PC is a decade old, it is possible that the drives are failing.

He didn't, but I'm not surprised you'd jump to that.

You're still not getting any help other than the recommendation to buy a PC with a current OS if you want support.

Yes. Upgrade to a supported OS, one of which includes current versions of Linux. The time of the horse and buggy are over. If you want to continue to use the Information Super Highway, you will need to get a gas (or electric) powered vehicle. Simple as.

Upgrade to win10. Do research on overclocking and undervolt. Get water cooling.... you got home work.

Win7.... ahh I heard old stories about that os. The heard already upgraded to win10 and 11. You must of been asleep at the wheel
