Steam Deck UI not working properly
I've been putting up with this for years, the Steam UI which is the successor to BIG PICTURE works terribly.

Many games launch in the background while the Steam logo continues loading and you're listening to the game, or even simply when you exit a game, the interface doesn't recognize the controller.

It's too tedious to have to use the keyboard and mouse all the time in the living room.
It's really annoying, I've been waiting for years like many others for them to fix the interface, of course it will never be a console-level interface, Steam deck UI on Windows is the most frustrating thing.
For those who want to recommend things to me, I have tried other interfaces like Playnite or Bigbox but they are even worse.

I'm considering abandoning my entire Steam library and buying a console.

While it may have originated from SteamOS for the Deck, it's still called Big Picture Mode.

What about it is terrible?

It works terribly, and I'm not talking about performance, I'm not having any issues.

The problem is the constant bugs when you open or close games, or it doesn't display on screen or when you have exited the game you cannot access the interface with the Gamepad and you are forced to use the keyboard and mouse.

Your post clearly states 'Steam Deck'
Technically the newest version of "Steam Big Picture" is the Steam deck interface, also called Deck UI.

But that's not the point, the interface could work much better being really pretty than it already is, but apparently no one is interested in giving it any improvements, 2 or 3 years and it remains the same.
