Can't link to my YouTube Channel
I wanted to add a video I recently made, but google kept saying the browser is not secure whenever I try to sign in through the Steam community. Has this anything to do with that massive password leak that happened recently?

What "password leak"? Are you referring to the stolen SMS logs? Those weren't from Steam, and they definitely weren't from the Steam client.

Try logging in using your regular web browser rather than the Steam client. Google doesn't like to cooperate with anything that isn't Chrome, Safari, or Firefox.

I was using the the Link to YouTube Channel on my Steam Videos page. It looks like it was already using Chrome, but it keeps telling me it couldn't sign me in.
Google doesn't support embedded browsers anymore, since 2020. Use a real browser to do this.

Don't have any ad blockers or cookie cleaners blocking anything Google related while doing so.

Pretty sure linking *your* you tube channel would be advertising and violates the steam online code of conduct.

On steam you can't:
Engage in commercial activity
Examples of such prohibited behavior include: posting advertisements; running contests; gambling; buying or selling Steam accounts; selling content, gift cards, or other items; and begging.

So you don't really want to link your own personal you tube channel to steam, because it would just risk getting you banned...

It is not against the rules at all. Where did you get that idea from?

It is literally the only way to upload videos to your profile, by linking your YT account to Steam in your videos page.

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/my/videos/link

Which the OP did in the past as well.

So long as it is only on their profile page only they can post a link to their YT channel..
They just can't post it in the forums or use it as their profile nickname.

Stop blaming the wrong company.

It's not Valve's fault that Google decided to block logins from embedded browsers back in 2020.
