I'm not.
Steam is EXTREMELY slow when it comes to fixing bugs that are not mission-critical; it can take literal years for them to address such things.
It seems they have very few (or even no) people on the Steam project -- maybe they hire a student once a year for 4 weeks or so to fix some bugs, and everything that's not fixed will have to wait for the next student next year.
Unfortunately, that's what it often feels like -- it takes forever to fix things.
or it never going to the the first comment, when being notified, but starting on the last one made... and you have to scroll through and check times posted, to see what was actually new in the comments.
has a scrolling bug, of which you post a comment and happen to land first on a page, you get scrolled into the void (big blue space below the comment section, that you shouldnt be able to see or scroll into.
or in some cases, the comments disappear all together, only showing the top and bottom headers (header with post number amounts, and page numbers) that encompass the comments section, of the thread(s).
among quite a few things, since said update.
i have reported these bugs many times, over the months, or longer... none has been fixed.
have a nice day
When I click on a notification, all new comments are highlighted, and it starts at the earliest new post. I know that Valve might remove that old comment notifications page someday, but for now I keep it pinned on my browsers.
Having this issue as well with screenshots. I'll upload a screenshot and mark it as public. I'll immediately click on the screenshot and click 'view on my profile' and it takes me to a black screen.
I had my Steam client updates disabled starting just before this new UI update happened and I was using the old client which had none of these issues. But I started having issues with the way the client was displaying things starting around the sale in Dec. 2024 so had to update.
They aren't a monopoly.
Your post history shows you hate Valve/Steam more than almost anyone I've seen around. Why are you still here and using their service if you hate them so much? There are alternatives
The mobile app uses both, new over the old.
i am on the windows 7 locked in steam launcher tho
