How to get trading cards given away free by Steam as complimentary free package?
As such free given games for limited time end up in ownership of game in library but their card drops are denied. I just saw in one game there is no option to purchase it n owning free meaning its card drops are locked for good. Should Steam not allow additional package sale to fully open its benefits?

It's probably due to a business agreement/license ended between the game company and Steam in regards to that particular game. Therefore any transactions including cards are void despite it affecting us, the customers.

Not sure why we can't keep trading cards though but there's probably a legal reason.

Perhaps the same reason why we don't get cards from queue anymore. :freijasip:

This is a peculiar bundle. The first game was given free. Now after buying both games bundle it wont unlock cards and there is no option to buy the first game to nullify free package make it regular! I owned pre free-version so no issues but friends who have free version given this week are stuck.

If you got the free version then you also have to buy the DLC for it in order to unlock cards for it. If you wanted cards you should have just bought the bundle before getting the free game.

I already had paid steam key from a bundle sale years ago. But friends who took alst few days free version are unable to unlock cards even after buying both games bundle and retil purchase solo isnt showing option.
