Let's see who wins the title. Yesterday I installed Steam on an old maxxed out 2007 Acer Extensa 5220 (C2D T7800 2.6 GHz, Intel X3100) with a fresh install of Lubuntu 24.04. It runs smooth for general usage but even HL1 needs to be lowered from native 800p resolution). On another setup, which is my daily rig, a Dell Poweredge 440SC dated back to late 2005, also maxxed out with a C2Q Q6600, 8 Gigs of RAM, SSD+HDD and a GTX 1630 (The only modern option for a single 8x PCIe lane on a x16 slot). I had also a venerable 2003 3.6 GHz P4 with the mighty GT 520 PCI and Win 10 LTSC but that's not on Steam in the moment cause is more for legacy 32bit stuff and office purpose. What's about yours?
