i could be wrong
...I think you missed the point of the post.
"Why is my market sale 'pending'? I wanted to dump a whole lot of stuff 5 minutes before the end of the sale so I could buy things!"
-Why are so few games on sale? (Someone 30 seconds after the sale goes live)
-The sale artwork sucks.
-Can Steam extend the sale? I get paid the day after it ends.
-I bought this game yesterday, now it's on sale way cheaper and I can't refund!
At least in summer we don't get the chorus of people thinking the Steam awards are the Oscars of gaming.
Or any complaint where the user blames Steam for hiccups that occurred in trying to buy something in the last five minutes of the sale.
And while it has been mentioned, the whining about pending market transactions is my favorite.
Oh, I have another one. Threads about the expiration date of the Steam Sale trading cards.
For the longest time it was "Steam Sales advice 101" to NOT purchase anything the first hour after flash/daily/community deals changed, given how hammered Steam servers were at that interval.
