You have to wait few hours before site starts working again, it's always like that.

Potato servers, takes a while to get going, normal on sales. Wait a little more.

It's been this way for many years, no chance of loading my Wish List.

I have no desire to scroll through the steam catalog again. I use a wishlist for a reason :D maybe tomorrow it'll work.

Happens every year is not an excuse anymore at this point. Steam can't resolve this from happening everytime there's a theme sale?

You must be new. This is the norm. Give it an hour or so.

It wouldn't be a Steam sale if the store didn't crash spectacularly on the first day

Yeah they remove the steam girl, thats savagery on a whole new level.

It's worse than ever. Usually it's just lagging. Here i can't see any games at all, it just displays "Spring sale"

Happens every summer since Steam was first created. It's just gotten worse every year, despite consistent updates and hardware upgrades - because of the ever increasing amount of Steam accounts, which means more purchases which means more transactions which means more traffic which means ever increasing server lag and delays.

I can see games, but I can't buy anything at the moment, because the amount of purchases flying around on Steam is pretty much killing the entire system for the shopping cart.

at least this means that the sales are going hot :D
