Yes they are fun but problem is that whole client will be stuck most of time. Grand Prix made loading times very long. Basically sales are just to make profit and it's hard to buy anything if loading times are long and most of time customers gets random errors while trying to purchase anything.

Also grand prix was well known from bug exploiting for leveling up profile. So go ask urself a twice atleast why wont they do it again..

Okay, but they could make something that is not competitive, right?
Or just remove rewards to make cheating less attractive?

Anyway, did they ever say directly what happened?

it wasn't just 'some people cheated'. it was a massive amount of people cheating and botting the games on a huge scale.
