I don't think so I have quite a few games on my wishlist that are now less than 5$, not a terrible sale at all

For me all I see common discounts that happen all the time. Probably that's their normal price. they sell for 2x without discount then make %50 discount every month. At least for my wishlist.
i gonna get some dlc for few of my games

A lot of people have a big library and not many games on their wishlist anymore. I think it's a psychological effect. Discounts are what they mostly have been throughout the years.

I have quite some games on my WL, but lots of them is unreleased or recentish. Nobody should expect deep discounts on recentish released games.

My WL doesn't load now, but I'm sure I'll find some good deals. I do so every sale, never understand the whinig of other people.

That said, I never cared much about those events, so not something I miss.

Robo Cop Rogue City $5, Outer Wilds $7, not bad buys.
I cannot tell..my wishlist and game store pages do not load. I have to hold my opinion until i can actually see the sale.

The only surprise reductions seem to be a handful in the deep discount section and even then, chances are most people own more than half the games. Every other discount is the same as we've seen for years, or worse than what can be bought elsewhere.

What's notable in this sale is the amount of worse discounts on some titles that had better discounts this month already. It's never a guarantee you'll get a bigger discount in major sales granted but it's just deflating to see some titles cost £3-8 more than common discounts they've had in the past few weeks and more previous.

Which has been the standard on Steam for years now. For years now games get better discounts in publisher or smaller themed (genre, country, etc) sales.

Nothing new.

Having shoved my way through the terrible performance. I could have done with more sales, and more importantly better ones, but I did manage to find some bargains. Some were even on some games I wanted. Not as bad as you want to claim, but not as good as I'd have liked.
This sale is incredibly disappointing.
If a game hasn’t been discounted already is there any chance it could go on sale in a day or two or is this it for the summer?

This is it. What you see now is what you get throughout.

There's always a chance, but realistically speaking. The pricing is likely right. Not everything goes on sale, or for the price you wanted. I suggest shopping for averages. If something still costs too much. Balance that out against something else. That you were able to snap up for dirt cheap. It'll make that higher price tag easier to swallow.

I wanted to get Star Wars Outlaws for more then half off, but it doesn't look like it will go any lower then half off. Fortunately a few other games I wanted got deeper discounts. So I ended up getting Outlaws for around seventy percent off when I averaged everything out. Some of those big ticket items will remain such, and you need to work magic in the cart to make them palatable.
