Yeah I'm talking about 2010-2014 Era, where we all get together and beat a common objective/goal and unlock freebies. etc.

The (real) world is already sad and pathetic as it is, we don't need more power tripping on Steam platforms, dictating on how to enjoy the sales, I mean we are now reduced to the point, where we can't even get cards in viewing the queues anymore.!

How much longer, before we just don't bother with anything anymore

It used to be the only thing that I looked forward to, a decade ago. Now everything's a business greed grab, smh.

Every event game was cheated, complained about and one even ruined the Sack of Gems value.

Steam doesn't need them anymore. We've been throughly trained into using the store and buying games for Steam to hang a carrot in front of us anymore.

The ball is in Epic's court now. Them free games aren't enough.

No thanks. I remember those things, and don't long for the day. Sure, they were mildly interesting. (at least until they got into the 'participate lots!' mode, which encouraged autoclickers, idlers, and so on. Bleah.)

No thanks. Stupid mini-games that were exploited to hell and back again are not needed ever again.

And now thinking about the concept of Epic doing a Steam-esque sale event and how it would pan out makes me want to put some popcorn in the microwave.

I agree! I said the same thing back in winter. I miss the community games they were fun, and yeah they were stupid. But it was a fun kind of stupid.

Now that valve isn't giving out free cards, I don't even bother with the queue any more. And most of the sale items kind of suck. I don't even bother buy cards on the market place because they're all jacked up in price now.

The sales bloody suck anymore. At least they could make them fun.
