Steam Client

Hi, i have a question my question is i have installed the steam mobile app on my smart phone. i will be continuing use my steam account on my mobile app instead of the the steam client, will this be ok? because i wont have access to my PC for a while/months its getting repaired. is there a timeframe you need to be signed into the steam client on desktop?? OR can i keep using the mobile app for a while months/year. etc?

Desktop, no.

You can use the mobile app all you want but you can not play games through it.

ok thanks, i might be out of action on my PC for a year, might travel. but i will have steam on my mobile app. to buy games, check sales, etc.

Thank you i was worried that they might lock my steam OR force me to go into a desktop client.

Nah. You never are forced to do that. I know people that have been MIA for over 3,000 days.

Nope. Just MIA. I think that was even before Valve released the mobile.

ok nps, i downloaded "Steam Mobile App" from the google app store thats made by valve corp the app right? so im running that because i wont be on my desktop PC for a while, going away travel and its getting repaired might be MIA for 1 year. BUT i still want to use my steam account thats why i got mobile app
