A question about regional pricing
I would like to know, who determines the price of a game in different countries on Steam? I ask because I also have a console (PS5), and I've noticed that sometimes there's a pretty big difference between Steam and console prices. Steam is usually priced better for my region. Just as an example, Baldur's Gate 3 at full price is R$199,99 on Steam and on PS5 is R$299,90.

Anyway I ask because some games still feel too expensive, so maybe there's a chance to contact whoever sets the prices and suggest they reconsider the price in my region.

Some publishers do listen but those are rare.

Indie devs are at the mercy of their publisher if they don't self publish.

The game's developers set the price. Valve will make suggestions based on a number of factors, but Devs have no obligation to follow them.

Thanks.
Partners on Steam are responsible for setting and managing pricing for their products.

For Baldur's Gate 3, expand the "compare all currencies"... https://steamdb.info/sub/907539/

Thanks. Baldur's Gate 3 is actually priced fine for the kind of game that it is and quality, at least from what I can tell, since I don't own it. There are a lot of AAA games which are priced very badly though, especially newer releases. I don't think publishers would actually listen to me though. But for an indie game, it might be possible.
