Anyone else do shockingly well for themselves? (Steam Summer Sale)
Technical problems from the start of the sale aside. I've somehow managed to do quite well for myself. I'm walking away with fourteen new games for my backlog, and having spent around two hundred dollars for them. That means my per game average is just around fifteen dollars.

I'm curious as to what everyone else has in their sacks of goodies. Maybe what we picked up will serve as inspiration or reminders. Here are the games I found in my sack at the end of the day.

Indiana Jones, Star Wars Outlaws, The Outer Worlds, Sea of Thieves, Tales of Arise, Biomutant, Halo Master Chief Collection, High on Life, Dishonored 1&2, Titanfall 2, Robocop, Jurassic World 2, and Battlefront 2.

That being said if you're not happy with the sale for whatever reason. There are easily a handful of negatively titled threads to contribute to. There is no good reason to bring that to this thread, or to try to drag down the mood in this thread. This is a happy thread for happy people.

nah I didn't get anything
I purchased nothing and saved ALL my money.
My wishlist is full to the brim, but I have an even bigger backlog to get through before I even consider going through it.
Sorry OP, but you are not correct. The Steam Summer Sale has been mediocre, and the good majority agree.
Did very well. Spent an amazing total of nothing. Got all the games I wanted.

I'll be clearing out a bit of my Wishlist. I typically clear out a bunch of cheaply priced ones and then target a few more from the higher tiers. My cart has 28 so far. Should be a decent haul when I get done.

Some of the highlights:
Robocop Rogue City
Hades
RDR2
Spider-man Remastered
Spider-man Morales
Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered

Oh, it's not that for me. While not technically a part of the sale, Persona 5: The Phantom X was the only thing left I currently wanted on Steam, and it was free. Besides, I'm busy with my more recent pick ups of Fantasy Life i and Death Stranding 2.

Not me. The only game I'm semi-excited for is Cyberpunk 2077 because the Ultimate Edition seems to be at an all-time low but even then it's nearly $60 AUD and I already have heaps of games I still need to finish.

I thought I might find someone else with a lick of sense. A word of warning avoid Spider-man 2 it's a cash grab. Even taking into account inflation, and the marketplace rebounding. You should treat it like an expansion, and shouldn't pay more then fifteen.
This is likely something I'll be grabbing, solid deal for basically a 3rd party remake;

Seen some other really good deals, just not interested in buying much until I finish more games or have more free time.

Not shockingly well, although I had the nice surprise of picking up Patron for 80% off. Got a couple of hidden object and dlc's for 50% off. So made a nice little dent in my wishlist.

I usually do two or three rounds during the big sales, as I debate whether to get something now or wait until next time. I have such a huge backlog and rarely play any of the games I buy right away.

Incorrect, but one would expect no less from a throwaway alt account.
