Dota2 Items stolen Steam Support did nothing!
I am writing to formally report the theft of my Dota 2 items due to a trade scam that occurred through the Steam platform. I submitted a report to Steam Support immediately after the incident, providing all relevant details and evidence. However, I never received any response or acknowledgment from Steam Support. Despite submitting a complete report and waiting for a resolution, I did not receive any reply, not even a confirmation that my request was being reviewed. This silence is extremely frustrating, especially given the seriousness of the situation and the value of the stolen items.I am requesting a proper investigation into the fraudulent account involved. Steam has the tools to trace item transfers and suspend accounts engaged in malicious activity. Ignoring scam cases encourages this behavior to continue.

I'm formally informing you that if your support tickets are being closed without a response, your account is still compromised, you need to secure it.

Steam support doesn't work off random forum posts.

Aside from that there's apparently a lot of info you don't know, so you're not likely to like Valve's response once you secure your account. Don't expect and public executions on your schedule.

Also, items being valuable encourages scams to continue. For scammers, bans are just a cost of business. We're not talking about regular users who went rogue. We're talking about determined scammers who buy or steal accounts to facilitate their scams. They know the accounts will eventually be banned or recovered by owners, there's always more accounts and more marks.

Hijacked. Malware or phishing.

Follow steps 1-6 to secure your account:

1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Check that the email and phone number on the Steam account are still yours.
3. Deauthorize all other devices https://steamhost.cn/twofactor/manage
4. Change passwords from a trusted/clean device.
5. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://steamhost.cn/twofactor/manage
6. Revoke the API key https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)

Steam Support stopped returning scammed items in 2015. You're a bit late.
Do you really think that the Steam Support will close your tickets?

At some point In the past you went to a third party trading site.

This site was/is a PHISHING SITE!!!

You logged into that site with your Steam credentials thereby giving the scammers YOUR login...

YOUR account is still compromised by those scammers

Define nothing. If you're expecting the items to be returned, that won't happen.

You have the tools to make sure your items never get traded away in the first place. You'll be more careful next time.
