thank you all for the answers, that helped a lot, I thought there might be another way, because some of the profile-modifications that steam offers, can only be bought by using Steam Points.

How do I get Steam Points?

Whenever you make a purchase on Steam, you'll be given Steam Points based on how much you spend. First, we convert this amount to USD, which then converts directly to the number of points you receive.

4. Finally, guides or workshop items may require a bit of work, but can get you many awards.

Otherwise, there's no legal way to get free points, and we, quite obviously, can't discuss illegal ways to do so. Not that there are any to begin with, mind you.

Of course there are. But those methods are a good way to get scammed or get banned for scamming. So, don't even ask.
