Option to pay other region prices when gifting game to friend in another country?
Is this an option that I have missed? If not It'd be nice if it could be added at some point.

I know gifting gift cards/steam bucks works, but that isn't as fun as surprising a friend with a game.

From "cheap" to "expensive"?

No. There is a sound reason: none should procure games cheaply only to gift them to those burdened with heavier costs. It's unjust to those who wield true coin, and I am relieved this has been forbidden.

You pay the price as shown to you at checkout based on your store region. Valve cannot charge you more.

Just send them a steam digital gift card in the amount of the game.
