Limited Account Not Removed Even After Purchasing abouve 10 $
I’m facing an issue with my Steam account. It’s still showing as a "Limited Account" even though I’ve made a qualifying purchase.

Here’s what I did:

On 16th June 2025, I added ₹640 to my Steam Wallet.

On 27th June 2025, I bought Hogwarts Legacy directly from the Steam Store, using ₹640 from my wallet and ₹534 via Visa.

From what I understand, spending more than $5 USD on the Steam Store should remove the limited status, but it hasn't updated even after several days.

Has anyone faced a similar issue? Do I just need to wait longer, or should I contact Steam Support?

How did you add the funds to your wallet? Gifted funds (digital giftcard) do not count towards unlocking your account.

You need to either add the funds directly by using a external method of payment such as debit/credit card, paypal ect.. Or via a physical giftcard brought from a shop.

A full $5 usd equivalent needs to be spent on Steam (loading the wallet counts) from a verified trusted system such as credit cards, bank cards, or PayPal.

Gift cards, digital or physical don't count
