You should not even be asking about Resident Evil 4. Who is that made by already? Yeah.
I mean, why buy a game when the only thing you are going to do is use someone else's save file and skip all the hard work?
Does it really matter how people want to play a singleplayer game?
Both PlayStation and Xbox console do it too.
Again, does it really matter? It doesn't affect you in any way.
How can Steam allow it? How about it's none of their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ business to manage the save feature of a game they do not own.
People seem to really overestimate Valve's ability and willingness to control PC gaming.
I mean, the devs didn't accidentally include it. They clearly want a specific 'game experience'.
