Stop calling games (too) easy?

From my experience, people on Steam often go on a rampage, throwing insults around en masse, or they become passively aggressive. The moderators just sit by and watch until you make a slightly passive-aggressive post yourself, at which point you get banned. This has been my experience across many different games on Steam. Don't even say something like, 'I'm disappointed by the reputation of this game being one of the hardest,' while you're just running around underleveled and without armor in your first playthrough. People can't handle it, and the moderation won't be on your side (you'll also get swarm-reported by the for some reason angry mob). Just pray that Steam gets AI moderation; then it should finally be a fair game.

You do realize that games have been made somewhat easier in a good number of cases because of today's gamers, right?

That, and toss in micro transactions as well. Pay your way to win ... which I don't have a problem with it as long as you aren't forced to do it.

Look, you aren't forced to play those game nor are you forced into forums to listen to their commentary.

You lose when you let other people rent space in your head. Let that sink in for a bit.

I don't think games are too easy, or too hard, but there certainly aren't a lot of sanely challenging games anymore all the games I play are boring or frustrating to an insane degree where it becomes unpleasant. it's all or nothing. no middle ground.

Just do what i do, if a game has no difficulty settings or has dark souls or rogue type tags hit ignore.. you'll be way less stressed..

I only play on easy these days cause games are designed for chill times and entertainment.. not a chore or job application.

Which is the logical approach. You have no "right" to defend yourself if someone insults you on steam or any video game. I know it's hard to hear that, but it's true. You're not allowed to break the rules because someone insults you. That's why you have blocking tools, muting tools, what have you.

Also always remember, opinions are not right nor wrong. Meaning if someone disagrees with your opinion doesn't mean you're right or wrong.

A lot of people forget that.

Some games actually are too easy. Likely types of games one plays a lot, or simply games made with not high challenge in mind.

Too easy for what though?

If a game is too easy to enjoy then that is one thing, entirely subjective. I don't mind varying difficulties of games as long as they are fun.

Usually the standard people use is challenge. Probably in this case as well considering the thread and the game mentioned.

Of course it's subjective, it all is. There is no objective standard of it. Which is also why it's a bit nonsense what OP is posting, it's fine if people find certain games too easy. Might be better if they don't concern themselves so much with it.
