Fake beta invite links from friends-list messages
Fake beta invite links have been going around stealing accounts by using the friends-list of hacked accounts. Thankfully I seem to have safely recovered mine but keep an eye out and double check with your friends through other channels than Steam or a voice call to make sure they were not hacked themselves

Why on earth would you click random links from strangers..

Don't do that, if friends are spamming you links they are hacked so just block and remove them, they are no longer your friends.
Report them and move on. You can report your friends phished accounts as stolen. They may actually get them back then.
Playtests are not sent through chat. They're all phishing links.

Real playtest...

You also can get some thru official emails too. I have received one the other day for a un-named rpg game that is coming up, but i refused due to time restraints in real life.Lets just say Bethesda made it..lol.
