New FPS counter looks terrible
Why ruin it out of the blue? It just looks awful now. I can't even read it properly.

Yes i know i can resize it but it being stuck to the corner is just not it.

PLEASE revert it

how often do you use it that it would matter that much how it looks?

It's on all the time? Whenever i have FPS drops it helps me check how much FPS i need to keep the game smooth and i can adjust the settings of the game accordingly. If it drops to 52 FPS i know that i need at least 10 FPS (I lock the FPS to 62 on RTSS and have a keybind to uncap the FPS aswell in order to see it uncapped)
looks better imo finally it has useful stats like cpu and gpu usage i prefer it this way
plus now i know how much vram im using without having to alt tab

Ah, you are one of those weird people who love to let themself get distracted by such stuff instead concentrating on the game.

You know.....if you do not like the steam overlay, there is other software with which you can let the current fps have displayed.....does RTSS (i assume you mean the riva tuner...) not come with a fps overlay as well?

No, that's the point - the small FPS number down in an out-of-the-way corner *doesn't* distract. But it's there whenever one might want/need to check it.

Not really.
People tend to look at that more often just because it is there, as it is an additional distracting element. (paired with the thinking that you need to trust such a thing more then your own eyes)

Frankly I didn't even know for all these years that Steam had FPS counter of any kind.
People need such clutter this badly?

Funny thing i ACTUALLY REMADE the old FPS counter in RTSS yesterday lol. Now even if they return it back to how it is i'm just gonna keep it disabled because it's way more convenient to have the RTSS counter than the Steam one. Added benefit is that i can use it on non-steam games AND other programs too.

Just LMK if you want the config and settings c:
