I've had a rather remarkable run of luck today. In fact I'm feeling entirely far too lucky today. I've received five summer sale foils today crafting badges. I got another foil yesterday from making a booster pack, and just now I received a booster pack on top of the one I got day one of the sale. I've never had anything close to this kind of luck. In fact I didn't get my first foil till this year.

Now I'll freely admit that I've gone overboard this sale. I've picked up seventeen games during the sale, and a fair few weren't in the bargain bin. On top of that I've been buying up cards on the marketplace. So that I can churn out some badges to level up. I'm even level twenty one on the summer sales badge. That being said this many foils seems abnormal.

I guess what I'm asking is this normal to have happen around this level, or is this the result of my spending a lot of money during a short time, because this is like a night and day change that I'm seeing. I have had more luck in my last half a dozen levels. Then I saw in the preceding sixty five levels over several years.

Does anyone have any experience, or have any ideas about this?

Foil drop rates are 1/100, no more, no less.

So you'd chalk it up to an absurd amount of dumb luck, because I haven't drawn no six hundred cards in a day. I even got three of these foils in the span of ten minutes.
