When you say "made on Steam" is Valve making Roblox, or do you not understand that Steam is a store, not a game development environment.
Games are sold on Steam, they're not made on Steam.
Selling Roblox on Steam wouldn't destroy the product. It could be sold on other platforms, and lots of publishers have their own launchers...
So realistcally, not much changes if it's just sold on Steam.
Roblox wants to receive 100% of their sales. They don't want to split that with any company.
Same goes for Minecraft.
In the alternate timeline the CEO was involved very serious and very expensive sex scandal. And Valve bailed them out to the tune of 50.1% of their company. In that timeline Steam is owned by WaGabeN, bad GabeN. No relation to Wario or WaLuigi, although they are real people there.
I think it is a stupid idea to have Roblox on Steam, as they will then need to share their revenue with Steam/Valve too. So, really, REALLY stupid idea here, sorry.
Try better next time!
