Refund Request Closed After 1 min. Even After Waiting For Days And Retrying Sont Working.
Hello Steam Community and Steam Support,

I’m having a serious problem with refunding the game *Space Engine*. I purchased it on June 30, 2025, played less than 2 hours, and am still within the 14-day refund window.

Despite meeting all the requirements, every refund request I submitted has been automatically closed within minutes, without any refund or explanation.

I have tried contacting Steam Support multiple times through all official channels, but all my tickets or requests are closed automatically, leaving me no way to speak to a human.

This is real money I spent, and I’m very frustrated by the lack of support. If anyone from Steam Support sees this, please help me get a manual review.

Also, if community members have any advice on what to do next, I’d really appreciate it.

If tickets are closed without replies, it means your account has been hijacked. The hijacker is doing the closing, so you can't contact support.

Somebody is likely going to post a list of things to do; however, the most important piece is to remove your API key if you have one, and "deauthorize all devices".
Hijacked. Malware or phishing.

Follow steps 1-6 to secure your account:

1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Check that the email and phone number on the Steam account are still yours.
3. Deauthorize all other devices https://steamhost.cn/twofactor/manage
4. Change passwords from a trusted/clean device.
5. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://steamhost.cn/twofactor/manage
6. Revoke the API key https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)
