Oh I see
Usually I don't pay attention to the reviews except for a big game you see? But here It make me perplexe
Oh ok thanks you for the information
They toned down the violence a tiny bit. So people who wanted a violent game are now upset they have a slightly less violent game.
It should be illegal to censored a game
It's not and should never be. Creative choice is a thing. However, that doesn't prevent the social consequences that these devs are now seeing. So, if they want to stop those consequences from happening, they'll find a way to make it work.
I don't own the game, because I refused to buy it in Early Access when they were selling access to their beta branch under the guise of it being a "supporter pack". Updates went there first and "supporters" got full access to them for like, 2 weeks.
I consider that to be a shady business practice, so I won't support them.
Do let us know when you will be taking legal action to enforce this.
Games have been censored since before you were born. Wasn't illegal then, isn't going to be illegal now.
When games have 1/3 of the buyers review it negatively steam will still display the "overwhelmingly positive". Despite a very large portion of the reviews being %100 negative. While it is true that most people think it is good the review system is not in the spirit of fairness.
Steam is tweaking the rules to suit themselves with profit in mind. Just like google serves ads first and serves nothing but their interests when it comes to your searches. Everything you search for the results you are served have to do with them trying to sell you something.
Steam is no different
