Uninstalled games
Yesterday, I suddenly found a bunch of my games had been uninstalled and had to reinstall them again. What happened?

Are they on a USB? If so is the USB connected if not our games will appear as uninstalled.

You most likely forced Widnows to close before Steam was done doing its file inventory. Either through forcing Steam to close from the shut down pop up or using the power button on the computer.

If the file inventory doesnt complete then appmanifest files can be lost or corrupted. If they become lost or corrupted then the client will no longer know if those games are installed, even if all of the files (minus appmanifest) are there.

Yea, never force shut down steam. It can cause all kinds of issues.
