password change give other restrictions than trade restrictions?

when i change my password, i know that u get a trade restriction (7 or 15 days, not sure rn), but do you get any other restrictions as well? am i still able to buy games, and whatever? do anyone know that it will be only the trade restriction?

You don't get a restriction for changing your password. You get it for resetting it.
They're very different processes.

Resetting your password restricts your account. Changing it does not.

5 days on an active account. 30 days on an inactive account.

Refund requests are held for 3 days when you do either of the above though.
