I can't make regular shortcuts to desktop.
I made a steam short cut for CS1 and it was a blank white icon.

I did the same for Subnautica a few days later and still got the blank Icon.

I recently reinstalled Windows 10 and Steam.

Create the shortcut in the same directory as the game first then rename it CSI for example cut that and paste onto desktop.
Desktop can be security set for any launchers placed directlythat has a .exe.

Ah, I see. I installed Steam on my C: drive (Boot), and installed Steam games to D: drive (Games)

So when I go to D: I just right c licked the subnautica exe and it sent it to the desktop.
