Report a translation problem
does it automatically get reviewed by a moderator, I was thinking after the automated system blocked it out, then that was it? I honestly don't think it had anything that would be considered bad enough to ban the review outright, no cursing or anything like that,
False positives aren't the end of the world. Although sometimes user opinions are biased too.
This review has been automatically flagged for containing potentially harmful content and the review text has been hidden as a result
doesn't say anything about a mod checking the review, i'm also unable to edit it or delete it, which is where i'm having an issue, I can easily just delete it and write a different review with some of the material which I guess might be causing an issue removed, but I simply don't have the option.
When I choose to delete the review it reloads review page with the review not removed.
When I try to edit the review it gives me a process 15 error..
I don't mind if it was a false positive or even if it needed to be removed, i'm just curious why I can't delete it or edit it so I can just write it over or edit it. Seems like it's stuck in this weird loop. Never had an issue with a review being hidden. I know about it being hidden when you first post them but this one was just immediately hidden with no options to do anything else.
Maybe it has to do with what you said that caused the flag? even if you didn't cuss, the system is a bit sensitive.
If you were being "Mean" or in some way the system might not like, that is the issue.
So you can't hide/change/alter what you wrote in the first place.
i'm trying to find a way to contact steam support for some clarity but can't seem to find the right category to actually. Was hoping someone might have some insight here
I think I found a solution to help you contact Steam Support for this
Help > Support > My Account > Data Related to Your Steam Account.
Then, at the very bottom of "Data Related to Your Steam Account " there is a "Contact support",
thanks alot, a few minutes ago I found the link, it was indeed where you posted, I was looking at the other support section which is why it was only letting me ask for help with billing and game issues.
another note seems as though the hidden text cleared up and now the review is posted, maybe I just needed to wait longer, thanks for the help much appreciated..

I don't know how the moderation flow works for reviews because that's Valve-only, but on the forums, if a post gets stuck in that gray italicized text, that coincides with an automated report being added to the queue, usually shortly followed by a global moderator coming by to clear it.
