A hacker doesn't need this to steal your skins; they can send several of your skins to them without you knowing.
The biggest problem is that Steam forces these things without giving the person free will to decide whether they want it or not. Usually, when they do this, it's to affect skins and not help players. :csgoct:

History repeats itself, let's remember that in the past Steam tried to shut down skin betting sites because they were losing a lot of money, and their solution was to ban them and set a time limit for exchanges.

Unfortunately, the vast majority needs Valve to protect them from themselves.

Disabling trading would do a far better job at shutting down sites and scam trades.

Every person who gets scammed tries to claim that there is a massive security breach, and steam must act now. theres strange cyber magic that lets them do it.

i have never had a single problem with anyone taking control of my account. why would that be?

the hard truth: there is no breach. if 'history' is repeating itself, it is an individual problem.

computers are hard for a lot of people. that's why they have several science degrees and a few engineering degrees based on them.

if one has problems securing their computer, i would recommend either buy some textbooks off amazon on the topic, and read them, or shut it down. no one can do this for the individual.
