Do something vs scammers Steam!

I get contacted quite often by some trash telling me a weirdo story of how i need to help them etc trying to get my login, it's always the same profiles, CS:GO or some other ftp with a couple hours, how about you stop this trash from even communicating by introducing a cash barrier for that, like spend min 10€ on steam to communicate, solved.

Edit: Can't comment because no guard, these guys just join game groups and then they can contact you in chat, no good, they shouldn't be able to do that.

There are no valve / steam employees or staff, server techs, steam support, or moderators in this steam related sub-forum. No one in this USER - USER only sub-forum can help you.

Users are the problem. Steam has provided the tools. Report on their profile, block, and move on

they just hack/steal other accounts where ppl already spend money, and then message you.
your solution only/mainly have negative effect on normal users, not on scammers.

Do you also commonly go to your local police station to berate them on the fact that there is still trash bandits on the street at that very moment?

There is just so much that can be done and you'll never be able to save people from themselves.

Why should they do anything when you're at fault. Frankly you are the one attracting them to you. The supposed problem only effects people like you. When you insist on wheeling and dealing on the bad side of town no less. You'll attract a criminal element like moths to a flame. Move to the good side of town. Play cleaner games, get off trade forums, and plain stop trading.
