Due to the serious third-party purchase fraud incidents that occurred in China involving transaction withdrawals
Steam can't have its items scammed now lol. There was a purchase scam on third-party trading platforms in mainland China, so there's a risk that items may be withdrawn when listing them for sale or purchase.

3rd parties aren't legit.. they are always scammers and malware producers.

I don't quite understand why Steam half-manages and half-ignores third-party transactions, but maybe it's all over now

Probably a good thing if it is all over.. If you've used them i'd give your pc a check over.

Only trade within the trade window. Anything you give someone outside of the trade window is not part of the trade.

To be able to buy you have to LOGIN to those third party sites... and by doing that THEY PHISH you STeam credentials... THEY _STEAL_ your loging details... and then they sit on them untill they think your account is worth anything...

So if you have used those sites in the past then considerer your account 100% COMPROMIZED!!!

holy
They'll never take down the market completely no matter what happens, too big of a cash cow and they literally do nothing to make all the money on every transaction all they do is provide the platform. Their high paid lawyers will see to it the market is never taken down completely they'll just keep creating hoops to jump through for legit buyer/sellers to wait around for weeks to get their items sellable/tradeable. Seems like all the hoops they create make them more money and us less so questionable what is really going on here ultimately with no real proof of fraud outside of steam. Just seems to be a bunch of words saying it's happening.
