You must be working for Mastercard. There should be 45000 threads on this until something gets done.
Nothing is going to get done by spamming a game forum. Take it up with your politicians if you want REAL change.
Come join me and the Japanese to help save your favorite embarrassing games and prevent that censorship from inevitably eventually extending over to things that aren't actually embarassing!
A lot of services can't do this but Valve made sure that Steam wallet credits were available for purchase everywhere long ago. People just didn't bother thinking about the privacy and censorship issues that ensue when you use other forms of payment instead of the Steam wallet credits.
Mark this as the answer and hope that people follow my lead.
The alternative payment system already exists for Steam.

Payment Processors are not lawmakers and thus shouldn't be allowed to tell Steam or any other company what they can sell.
Also looking on google search, it's actually illegal to prevent another company from selling products.
Google response:
"Yes, in many cases, attempting to prevent another company from selling a product can be considered anti-competitive behavior, especially if it substantially lessens competition in a market. This is often prohibited under competition laws like the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 in Australia."
"Anti-competitive practices are illegal. In Australia, the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) (CCA) prohibits businesses from engaging in conduct that substantially lessens competition. This includes agreements, arrangements, or concerted practices that have the purpose, effect, or likely effect of restricting competition. "
Valve should consider taking their Payment Processor to court in Australia or alternatively Steam should become a payment processor themselves, make SteamPay or something and become direct competition to the anti-consumer Payment Processors.
Sorry, but if it were that easy these threads wouldn't exist.
If wallet credits were the option, then kindly explain why games have already been delisted.
These types of games will cease to exist on this platform. Also, since Steam is the biggest one, all of the other ones will follow.
Adult games are a niche genre. The games that are being targeted are an even smaller part of that genre. No one in their right mind is going to risk losing billions of dollars by trying to keep them on a platform.
Adult games as a whole, have only been on this platform since 2018. Steam was doing fine before they were allowed on here and they will continue to do fine after they are gone.
so stoked for this svelte, svelte news
