Remember, speaking up does something
I have just heard that many porn games are being removed from steam.

Well done to all those who spoke up to make it clear that we dont want them on here.

Well done steam community, my faith in it has been increased a little.

I hope we can all continue to cooperate as a community to improve this site.

It is called the adult games filter, and I believe you have to toggle it off to get the adult games to begin with. So I do not see how you even look at any of those unless you are weirdo who like to look at games you hate.

keep preaching the same tired line, doesnt matter. the community spoke and a number of porn games are being removed from steam.

The conversation was had, this isnt a thread to rehash it. this is a PSA about that change.

So to stay on topic, you can specifically mention that change in that steam is removing porn games or talk about the community coming together and being heard.

It was not because of any community comments or solidarity.
Speaking up did absolutely nothing. The tiny group of people who cannot handle having adult games on the store had nothing to do with it.

But it's funny to see them immediately try and claim it was because of their crying.

The "we" you are referring to is actually against you. You are part of the vocal minority and absolutely not the majority view of the community, that you can be absolutely sure of. You describe the result of the campaign of a handful of activists. Steam has historically shown an intelligent approach against censorship and I have no doubt it will be corrected here as well.
Remember when people put real effort into getting clown awards? I miss those days.
8/10 trolling thread.

Good timing, decent bait, no obvious tryhard bs.
Fail Troll. won't get any clowns from me.

but if your being genuine about this. You're crazy.. straight up dumb crazy. (I say that cause generally there's a lot of different folks and you sound like troll bait. but I wouldn't be surprised in this era where idiots don't understand the damage they cause with stupid opinions.)
Acta non verba.

Which is the standard MO. Facts are inconvenient for them, remember that.

LOL

You had nothing to do with it, nor did any other user. Visa and Mastercard did it....AND it's only certain adult games.

Inform yourself before making threads.

The same people who influenced payment processors to pressure Steam into removing those games tried to get GTA V and Detroit Become Human banned. It doesn't stop with the extreme stuff. If a thing is legal to produce and sell, payment processors should have no power to decide if people get to spend their money on it.
if im the troll, why are you guys on here being so combative and hateful?

If im the one that doesnt learn, why did what I say occur in the chain of events they did?

You guys have fun attacking me, I am vindicated regardless.

Thank you, good day to you all.
No one is being hateful or attacking you. Whose fault is it that you're not in the loop? It certainly isn't our fault.
