What games feel like company?
I love Dragon's Age Origins how the characters talk to each other, same with Divinity Original Sin 1/2. I just booted up Neon White for the first time and the dialogue combined with the soundtrack is so welcoming. It's goofy and fun.

What other games are like this? I'd really like some games that help give the feeling of the presence of other people.

Gothic, but it's from 2000. There's a remake planned, I'm looking forward to it :D
It's one I'm definitely checking out some day.

Paday 2 has a set of bots who chat about the current tactical situation and are even more useful, than most of random people online, making them seem pretty realistic.
The og Baldurs Gate had this too.

A few characters even start fighting with each other.

The scenes with Jackie are honestly some of my favorites. Felt so believable and life-like
Most of the Baldur's Gate's games, Diablo 2 for sure, Kingdom Come deliverance, GTA 4, and Morrowind.

Another one is rogue trader wh40k. The characters are pretty interesting.
