Steam Support is SCARY fast!
I got a new game TODAY, decided I didn't really like it, I refunded it and then got a new game and I liked that one. I check my wallet only like 2 hours later seeing how much I have and I already got the money back from my refund? How is this possible? It's almost midnight, how are they on the case so fast??!

From what people on these forums have said about refunds, if you refund something within 24 hours the money hasn't left your account or whatever yet, so they are just cancelling the transfer. And it is probably easier for Steam to deal with Wallet funds than with external sources.

I once refunded a game the same day, I think, and I got the money back while I was still writing a negative review.

Truth. I've usually found them pretty responsive on refunds, But the mods generally suck at tamping down flame wars.

There is a lot of haters, I haven't had issues with Steam in my entire experience.

I've been on Steam for like 15 years now I think. I've definitely had issues with it but usually it gets resolved and everybody's happy in the end
