Correction probably on my part. it was paypal who pulled out. not steam.

Paypal is available as a valid paymen method here.

Must be something specific to your region as Paypal is still available in mine.

It was available the last few days. I went to buy something with steam wallet and kept getting refused till I lowered the price below the amount that was in the wallet. I went to check my payment methods and steam removed paypal either to paypal's wishes. or due to the region. I live in the south of the USA btw so it should technically still be allowed.

PayPal pulled the same stunt as the card companies you weren’t bypassing the issue by using them

It depends on country / PayPal division. PayPal works in Japan on Steam, for example.

No issues using PayPal here in AUS

What we're saying is that PayPal demonstrably hasn't been removed from the store, because several of us here in different regions can still use it, with no issues.

Perhaps there's just some issues with it where you are.
